Abstract

The article reveals the concepts of "competence of teacher “,” professionalism". The structure of professional competence and criteria of professionalism are presented. The influence of external and internal factors on the development of professional competence of pedagogical workers is shown, the results of studying it are presented, structural components depending on the conditions of educational environment and experience of pedagogical activity.
